Chili Garlic Green Beans

Hello! It has been a while since my last recipe, but I am back! Here is a super simple green bean recipe. I made this as a side along with the Chili Garlic Glazed Snapper recipe from the Spruce Eats Blog. Chili Garlic Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil of choice
- 1 pound bag of green beans (preferably trimmed and shocked)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1-2 tsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1-2 tbps soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- sesame seeds (to top when serving)
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pan or wok, then add in the minced garlic.
- Once the garlic is starting to brown add in the trimmed and shocked green beans.
- In a bowl mix together the garlic chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar and honey.
- Cook the green beans for 3-4 minutes before adding in the mixture of sauces.
- As the mixture is stirred in let the beans continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from the bowl, top with some sesame seeds, and serve!
