Hello! It has been a while since my last recipe, but I am back! Here is a super simple green bean recipe. I made this as a side along with the Chili Garlic Glazed Snapper recipe from the Spruce Eats Blog. Chili Garlic Green Beans

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings
Course: Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp oil of choice
  • 1 pound bag of green beans (preferably trimmed and shocked)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1-2 tsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1-2 tbps soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • sesame seeds (to top when serving)

Method
 

  1. Heat the oil in a pan or wok, then add in the minced garlic.
  2. Once the garlic is starting to brown add in the trimmed and shocked green beans.
  3. In a bowl mix together the garlic chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar and honey.
  4. Cook the green beans for 3-4 minutes before adding in the mixture of sauces.
  5. As the mixture is stirred in let the beans continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from the bowl, top with some sesame seeds, and serve!
